
The Bush Library and Museum has free admission on the 4th. From ten until two there will be bounce houses, crafts, refreshments, balloons, and face painting. At 1:00pm. you can participate in a special bell ringing as part of the nationwide Let Freedom Ring ceremony.
The City of College Station’s I Heart America Celebration at Wolf Pen Creek amphitheater includes a concert by the Josh Abbott band at 8:00pm followed by fireworks.
There will a fireworks show at Bryan’s Midtown Park after the Bryan Yard Dogs baseball game. Parking is available at multiple locations inside Midtown Park.
The Millican Heritage Society is hosting a celebration in and outside the Millican Community Center starting at 6:00pm. You’re invited to bring homemade ice cream. There will be free hot dogs and lemonade. The event includes performances by three bands and gospel singers. That’s followed by fireworks.
An all day celebration is taking place in Navasota starting with a parade at 11:00am. That’s followed by family friendly activities, live entertainment, a new drone light show, and the annual fireworks display.
Kurten’s 23rd annual fireworks show and fundraiser is Saturday, starting at 5:00pm at the Kurten Community Center. The list of activities leading up to the fireworks are on the Facebook page Savage Outdoor and Defense.
On Sunday, July 5th, Christ Church is having a flag dedication ceremony, followed by a combined worship service, which is followed by an afternoon of festivities. More information is online at christchurchcs.org.
