Aggie Men’s Basketball Announces 2023-24 Tip-Off Banquet

Sep 13, 2023 | Men's Basketball

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M men's basketball team will celebrate the start of the upcoming 2023-24 season with the annual Tip-Off Banquet exclusively for members of the 6th Man Club beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 at Reed Arena.

The 6th Man Club is the official support group for the Texas A&M men's basketball team. Fans can join the 6th Man Club and register for the Tip-Off Banquet at 12thMan.com/6MC.

6th Man Club members will have the opportunity to meet the team and coaching staff, as well as hear Coach Buzz Williams theme of the year. Those in attendance will receive an exclusive token or keepsake emblazoned with the logo of the year.

Supporters have the opportunity to sign up for one of the three levels; All Star, All-SEC or All-American. All Star Members will receive one ticket to the Tip-Off Banquet, exclusive Aggie Basketball gear and the Year 5 "token." All-SEC members receive the aforementioned items for two, and All-American members will receive all of that plus additional 6th Man Club gear.

The Aggies are mentioned prominently in the preseason top 25 rankings, most recently No. 19 by ESPN.com and No. 21 by The Athletic.  The Aggies lost just a single player that exhausted his collegiate eligibility in 2022-23. Leading the group of returnees are Wade Taylor IV and Tyrece Radford, who both earned All-SEC honors last year. All told, the team's 2022-23 individual leaders in minutes, points, rebounds, assists, steals, 3-pointers and free throws will be back in action for the Aggies. Williams, entering his fifth year in Aggieland, was named SEC Coach of the Year for a second time last year after guiding the Aggies to a 25-10 overall record, including a sparkling 15-3 conference record, and the program's first NCAA Tournament berth since 2018.
