LIVE Transfer Talk: Barcelona see Bayern's Kingsley Coman as Ousmane Dembele replacement

Amid all the action at the Euros and Copa America, the summer transfer window has opened for some leagues with Europe's biggest clubs looking to make a splash in the transfer market. Check out the latest gossip below, and see see all official deals here.

TOP STORY: Barcelona look to Coman as Dembele replacement

Barcelona are interested in signing Bayern Munich's Kingsley Coman as a potential replacement for Ousmane Dembele, reports Le 10 Sport.

With just one year left on his deal, the man that signed for Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017 for £135.5 million could be on his way out as Barca look to recoup part of the substantial fee that they paid. And with talks continuing to stall, the Catalan club have wasted no time in eyeing up a potential replacement in Coman.

The 25-year-old has enjoyed spells with Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus, but played a big role in Bayern's Bundesliga title success last season, scoring five and assisting 10 goals in 23 starts. And such form has seen interest in the winger from the Premier League, with both Manchester United and Chelsea also linked with the winger.

Ronald Koeman's side was previously linked with Coman last summer, but Barcelona president Joan Laporta could soon escalate the France winger to the top of the shortlist as Dembele continues to look likely to leave Camp Nou.

22.30 BST: That will do it for the latest edition of our LIVE Transfer Talk blog. We hoped you enjoyed following along with us and remind you to check back shortly for the latest transfer rumours, reports and completed deals. Goodnight!

22.00 BST: Man City are preparing a £100 million take-it-or-leave-it offer for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, the Daily Star understands.

The outlet adds that the bid will come following the European Championships with Spurs and chairman Daniel Levy unlikely to accept. Spurs are hoping to net something closer to £150 million for the prolific striker, who is currently on duty with England at Euro 2020.

Kane, 27, has scored 221 goals in 336 games for Tottenham, and has won the Premier League's Golden Boot three separate times. Man City recently lost Sergio Aguero to Barcelona and are reportedly in the market for a traditional No. 9 after after playing out most of the 2020-21 season without a recognized striker.

21.09 BST: As has long been expected, Barcelona have signed Dutch striker Memphis Depay from Lyon.

The ex-Man United man, 27, joins Barca on a free transfer and will sign a two-year contract with the club. The move reunites the striker with former Netherlands international Ronald Koeman, and see Depay return to an elite club after a poor spell in England (2015-17).

Depay scored 63 goals in 139 league games with Lyon over the past five seasons, including 20 in 2020-21.

20.22 BST: Napoli are looking to bolster their midfield, and Corriere dello Sport claims that Sheffield United's Sander Berge has emerged as an option.

The Norway international, 23, has a £35 million release clause and is set to leave the North of England following the Blades' regulation from the Premier League. Napoli narrowly missed out on Berge to United in Jan. 2020 but have reportedly reignited their interest in the defensive midfielder, who is also a target of Arsenal.

While Napoli are interested in the highly-rated Berge, they cannot afford his full release clause and are hoping to negotiate a lesser fee.

19.46 BST: Torino are looking to move on from two players currently playing prominent roles at Euro 2020, Tuttosport alleges.

The Italian site writes that the club are trying to find new homes for Swiss left-back Ricardo Rodriguez and Poland midfielder Karol Linetty, both of whom have falling down the pecking order at the club.

There are no obvious suitors for either the 28-year-old Rodriguez, or 26-year-old Linetty.

19.00 BST: Arsenal are not giving up on landing their white whale: Houssem Aouar.

The Sun is claiming that the Gunners are preparing a fresh approach for the Lyon midfielder, having been priced out of a move for the France international two summers ago. OL were once asking for £55 million for the creative midfielder but the 22-year-old now may be available for a fraction of that. With Lyon having missed out on qualifying for the Champions League, the club are likely to lose Aouar, even for as little as £20 million!

Arsenal are reportedly readying a contract of £100,000-a-week for Aouar, who scored eight goals and chipped in four assists for Lyon last season.

18.18 BST: Barcelona and Marseille have agreed to terms on a deal for American youngster Konrad de la Fuente, Marca claims.

The Spanish outlet claims that Marseille will pay €5 million for 19-year-old wide man, who was recently named Barca B's Player of the Season.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the idea is to split any future profits 50:50 between the two clubs, but so far that portion of the deal has yet to be finalised.

17.35 BST: Former United States, Germany and Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann says he would "absolutely" consider becoming manager of Tottenham Hotspur if the club were to contact him about the vacancy.

Klinsmann is a fan favourite at Spurs following the striker's two spells at the club in the 1990s. He scored 29 goals in 50 appearances and was named Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year in the 1994-95 season, and then his nine goals in a mid-season loan spell in 1997-98 helped the club survive a battle against relegation from the Premier League.

Since leaving the U.S. job in 2016 Klinsmann's only top-level coaching role was a brief spell at Hertha Berlin last season. However, he told BBC Sport that "Spurs is still in my heart" and he had actually initiated contact with Spurs chairman Daniel Levy after Jose Mourinho was sacked on April.

I called him after he let Mourinho go," he said. "I said 'Daniel, what's the case now?' and he said 'I have so much to do right now, I have to sort things out at the club and let's talk later on'.

"Then I saw all the different names walking in and talking and walking out. And the same still."

When asked if he would be interested in taking the job, Klinsmann added: "Absolutely would I consider that, but if he doesn't want to I cannot force it."

16.41 BST: Paul Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola, has met with Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi to discuss the Manchester United midfielder, the Daily Mirror reports.

Pogba has one season left on his contract at Old Trafford, where he returned in 2016 from Juventus in an £89m transfer, a world-record fee at the time, having previously come through the youth system with the Premier League club.

However, the France international has often been linked with a move away as he has struggled to deliver his best performances on a consistent basis.

Pogba revealed last week that he is yet to be offered a new deal by United, and he even had to make a quick exit from a news conference when he was jokingly asked questions about joining PSG from his own teammates.

The Mirror report claims that Raiola and Al-Khelaifi's meeting in france could result in PSG becoming frontrunners to sign the 28-year-old, who has also often been linked with a return to Juventus.

15.10 BST: Arsenal are in advanced talks with defender Kieran Tierney over a new five-year contract, the Daily Telegraph reports.

Tierney returned from injury to play for Scotland in Friday's 0-0 draw with England at Wembley in Euro 2020, keeping their hopes of qualifying for the knockout phase alive.

The 24-year-old, who signed for Arsenal in a £25m transfer from Celtic in 2019, could reportedly even fully agree terms on the new long-term deal in the next few days, according to the Telegraph.

13.51 BST: Borussia Dortmund have rejected a bid from Manchester United for Jadon Sancho, according to Ruhr Nachrichten.

A deal last summer collapsed because the two clubs were too far apart in their valuation of the 21-year-old, and while Dortmund are no longer asking for the €120m transfer fee of a year ago, sources told ESPN last week that their demands are still higher than United anticipated. Sources said Dortmund are looking for around €100m for Sancho, with the clubs around €20m apart in their valuations of the player.

Now German outlet Ruhr Nachrichten that United have made a first offer of this transfer window, and that it is indeed short of what Dortmund hope to receive for the England international.

Sancho has two years left on his contract, and although Dortmund are open to the winger leaving after four seasons in the Bundesliga, they want the best deal possible in an effort to deal with the financial hit caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

12.46 BST: Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann has reiterated his desire to move to the United States and play in Major League Soccer before he retires.

Griezmann, 30, has scored 35 goals for Barcelona since joining them from Atletico Madrid in 2019. The France international, who has three years left on his contract, told ESPN in 2018 that he would like to spend time playing in the U.S. before hanging up his boots, and he told Le Figaro that he has not changed his plans.

"I still have three years to go [at Barcelona]," Griezmann told the French newspaper. "I have to pay attention to my body, because at any time it can change.

"My contract with Barcelona runs until June 2024 and after that I think it will be the right time to go to the United States. I love the country, the culture, the NBA and the desire for adventure attracts me, but I also have a family that I would have to move out there.

"I would like to end my career there but still be good enough on the pitch and win MLS, instead of coming in with nothing to give and looking like nothing on the pitch. That wouldn't make sense."

11.42 BST: It will be "very difficult" for Real Madrid to sign Pau Torres this summer, Diario AS reports, with a likely €50m transfer fee a potential obstacle and Villarreal in no hurry to lose the defender.

According to the newspaper, the 24-year-old centre-back is keen to play for Madrid in the future and the club "are willing to wait" in the belief a move would be "more viable in the summer of 2022."

AS claims that even the possible departure of Raphael Varane wouldn't help speed up a deal, as the money that brings in would be destined to help fund a bid for Kylian Mbappe.

10.49 BST: Tottenham Hotspur are back to square one in their increasingly chaotic managerial search after deciding not to appoint Gennaro Gattuso following a strong fan backlash, sources have told ESPN's James Olley.

Spurs will now reassess the possible candidates -- which sources have said still include Ajax's Erik ten Hag despite him signing a contract extension to 2023 -- after opting against pursing a deal with Gattuso, who on Thursday backed out of a deal to join Fiorentina on July 1, just 23 days after his appointment was announced.

Gattuso's sudden availability was a contributing factor in Tottenham ending lengthy negotiations with Paulo Fonseca, who is a free agent, having left Roma after not having his contract renewed. Sources have told ESPN that a positive virtual meeting took place between chairman Daniel Levy and Fonseca. However, at a second meeting with Fabio Paratici, Tottenham's incoming managing director of football, there was less alignment in their visions of the club.

ESPN has also learned that Fonseca would have had to pay €3m ($3.6m) in tax were he to take up a job outside of Italy before the end of next month due to the country's laws regarding elite sportspeople, although this was not seen as a major obstacle to an agreement. In fact, Spurs got as far as sending a contract - a two-year deal with an option of a third - to Fonseca on Thursday morning before Paratici led the move to approach Gattuso.

09.56 BST: Real Madrid have decided not to exercise their €4m right to sign forward Hugo Duro, according to Marca.

Duro joined Madrid on loan last summer -- preferring to play for their B-team Castilla rather than in La Liga with Getafe -- and scored 12 league goals in the third tier of Spanish football.

The 21-year-old also made three substitute appearances for the first team, including in the Champions League against Atalanta.

Marca reports that Madrid were keen on another year's loan for Duro, but weren't willing to pay the €4m fee to sign him permanently.

09.00 BST: Manchester United are being deterred in their pursuit of Kieran Trippier and Raphael Varane because of high transfer fees being quoted by their clubs, sources have told ESPN's Rob Dawson.

United are interested in signing a right-back and a centre-back this summer with Trippier and Varane among the players on a list of targets drawn up by the recruitment department and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Trippier is keen to return to the Premier League after two seasons at Atletico Madrid to be closer to his family but the fee being quoted by intermediaries is more than £30m, which United consider to be too much for a 30-year-old with very little sell-on value.

Solskjaer already has a regular right-back in Aaron Wan-Bissaka -- who cost £50m from Crystal Palace in 2019 -- and when Alex Telles was signed last summer as competition for Luke Shaw at left-back, the Brazilian cost around £15m from Porto.

Sources have told ESPN that Atletico are not willing to listen to any offers for Trippier as coach Diego Simeone considers him to be a key member of the squad, and doesn't have enough faith in backup option Sime Vrsaljko.

PAPER GOSSIP (by Adam Brown)

- BILD journalist Tobi Altschäffl says that Florian Neuhaus is likely to stay with Borussia Monchengladbach for another year. Reports on Thursday suggested that a bid is expected from Liverpool, but after a chat with Gladbach manager Adi Hütter, the highly-rated 24-year-old now looks set for another season in the Bundesliga.

- Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Nicolas Gonzalez looks set to join Fiorentina for €27 million. - Newcastle United will sign Liverpool youngster Remi Savage, reports Chronicle Live. The 19-year-old has been on Merseyside since the age of nine, but after contract talks have broken down with the Anfield hierarchy, the defender is now ready to swap Liverpool for Tyneside after receiving a contract offer from the Magpies.

- Kieran Tierney will be rewarded with a new five-year contract at Arsenal, writes the Daily Mail. The defender has impressed since arriving from Celtic for a fee of £25m and has played a prominent role on the left side of Arsenal's defence. The 24-year-old featured 38 times for Mikel Arteta's side last season and is currently on duty with Scotland at Euro 2020 where he started in a 0-0 draw with England on Friday.

- Everton are keen on bringing Sporting's Matheus Nunes to Goodison Park. Sport Witness writes that the Toffees are interested in signing the 22-year-old on a deal worth £18m, however an agreement is unlikely to be completed until after Euro 2020. The midfielder featured 31 times in the Portuguese Liga last season.
